а самое интересное в том, что я загрузил в него старый проект на VB.NET 2003, он у меня спросил: "Не хотите ли преобразовать проект в v9.0 (Visual Studio 2005)?", я ответил да и после преобразования нажал компиляцию и... все работает!!! Вобщем для тех, кому нужно такое средство разработки качайте, тем более что оно весит менее 10 мегабайт
